Kermit Eugene "Gene" Brannon, 96 of Kenna passed away November 24, 2015 at Eldercare of Ripley following a long illness.He was born November 18, 1919 at Rosedale, WV, a son of the late Roy Ray and Ethel Gay Rollyson Brannon. He was a World War II U.S. Marine veteran and served with the 1st Marine Division. He worked several years for Harl Winter and Winter Building Supply in Ripley and retired from Kaiser Aluminum.
